A free meal-planning and grocery-budgeting tool for New Zealand, currently in beta. That means it's genuinely useful and still improving, and you'll occasionally find rough edges. Telling us about them is the fastest way to get them fixed.
Kepie's prices come from each supermarket's listed online prices, for the regions shown on each page. Our team checks them every week, and each price shows when it was recorded. Prices, specials and stock change often and differ between stores, regions, and in store versus online, so the price at your till can differ from what Kepie shows. Kepie is a planning tool, not a quote. If a number is wrong, tell us and we'll look into it.
Our specials pages show what we recorded: the price, and when and where it was recorded. Labels such as “real deal” and “Clayton's special” are Kepie's own independent consumer commentary, worked out using the method explained on the page from the prices we recorded on the dates shown. They are not an industry classification or a statement about any supermarket's intentions, and they describe that record, not what a supermarket is doing now. If you think we've got one wrong, email hello@kepie.co.nzand we'll look at it the same day.
The price records, checks and lists Kepie compiles belong to Custard Square Limited. You can't scrape, copy in bulk, collect together or republish them without our written permission. Sharing a link or a single item with its source and date is fine. Kepie isn't responsible for anyone else's copy or use of our information.
Kepie's dietary filters are a convenience, not a safety system. Do not rely on Kepie to protect you from allergens. Always check the actual product label and the recipe's actual ingredients before buying or cooking, especially for anyone with an allergy or medical dietary requirement.
Don't abuse the service (scraping, bulk automated access, attempting to identify other users, or interfering with operation). We can suspend access that does.
Kepie is provided as-is, free of charge. To the extent NZ law allows, we're not liable for losses from using it, including a shop that costs more than the app estimated. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act that can't be excluded.
You can delete your account at any time in settings; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data. We can suspend or delete any account at our discretion, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these terms or abuse of the service, and we can change or withdraw features or the service itself. Kepie is free and in beta; we use this sparingly, but the right is not limited to abuse. If an account is suspended or deleted, your data is handled as the Privacy Policy describes.
We'll flag meaningful changes to these terms in the app before they apply.
